Case Study


The Utility Warehouse team approached us with a challenge to help them increase their presence at recruitment shows. Having attended Silicon Milk Roundabout, with a standard pop-up stand, they quickly realised their current kit didn’t have the stand-out required and lacked the aesthetic punch to draw people in.


By taking the time to visit their offices, not only were we able to gain a sense of their requirements but also an understanding of the company the stand would represent. It was obvious this business needed more than a backwall, yet the set-up needed to be simple enough for any of the team to go on the road with it.

We therefore turned to our fabric walling product; GrandFabric. A versatile, modular self-build solution which allows users to customise exhibition stands to suit every size of event. Using simple components and striking graphics, a design was put forward to Utility Warehouse which created an enticing environment and enabled the company to compete better with neighbouring stands.


After a full pre-build by Exhibition Services staff, the Utility Warehouse team joined us for a training session so they could get to grips with the kit ahead of building it themselves at the show. At this point our client was also pleased to find out the stand easily fitted in the back of his family car!

Utility Warehouse went on to have a very successful show at Silicon Milk Roundabout at the Truman Brewery, generating the staff leads they needed. They have since explored refreshing the graphics to enable different departments to utilise the stand – true to our re-use, re-configure, re-brand ethos which is not only cost-effective but also an environmentally-friendly way to have a show presence.

We were all shocked at how sharp the graphics are on fabric!
