Throughout 2019, Exhibition Services team members have been working hard to fundraise and volunteer with charities that are close to our heart.
Office Manager Dee Howes has been one of the busiest, undertaking several challenges and pushing her physical endurance to the limit. So far this year she has run the Vitality Half Marathon for the Royal Brompton Hospital, completed the Commando Series for the Royal Marines Charity and most recently fundraised for the Lennox Children’s Cancer Fund by sponsoring a young girl diagnosed with cancer.
The Lennox Fund works to make a positive difference to the lives of children diagnosed with cancer. By sponsoring seven-year-old Summer, Dee is helping to provide financial support for her and her mother while she undergoes treatment for T-Cell Lymphoblastic Lymphoma. The Lennox Fund helps provide the family with new clothes, assistance with utility bills and even violin lessons for Summer!
Exhibition Services also hosted a Macmillan Coffee Morning at the end of September and a number of staff continued to raise money for Macmillan by taking part in Go Sober for October. Managing Director Julie, Operations Co-ordinator Emily and Warehouse Co-ordinator Doug were sure to support each other throughout the month and raised a total of £161.00
