This Summer we worked with Catherine Jones from the Historic Palaces Learning Team at the Tower of London, providing display boards for its annual Take One Exhibition at The Banqueting House, Whitehall. The Take One Project uses a single building or object as a resource for primary school teachers to teach across the curriculum and this year’s focus was on the Salt Tower and the story of John Gerard, a Jesuit priest imprisoned under Queen Elizabeth I. The exhibition, which took place beneath the majestic Rubens ceiling in the Great Hall at The Banqueting House, featured work created by over 2500 children from 18 London-based schools – all presented in a bespoke display board configuration designed by our team.
